Cupcakes!

Just basic cupcakes I had fun decorating.

I haven’t eaten them yet….

I hope they are tasty!

They should. They’re filled with melted chocolate and strawberry jam.

Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

I’m a little annoyed with these cookies at the moment. I mean, they are amazing and all, but once I give them to someone they won’t ask for anything else anymore. I’ve made three batches of these in three days. My classmates will accept nothing less.

And just a FYI for those of you interested in that kind of thing, but this cookie dough is amazing. Seriously, it’s the only reason I haven’t stopped making them.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • ½ tsp Cinnamon
  • ½ tsp All Spice
  • ¾ cup Butter, (unsalted)
  • 5/4 cups Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cup Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 3 cups Oatmeal
  • ¼ cup Milk
  • 1 ¾ cups Raisins, (or chocolate chips)

Instructions:

1. Preheat the oven to 375 F˚
2. Mix the flour, baking soda and spices
3. In a bigger bowl, using a mixer (or large spoon), cream the butter until fluffy and white
4. Beat in the sugars
5. Beat in the eggs, and vanilla
6. Add the oats and raisins (or chocolate chips)
7. If the mixture is wet and sticky, add ¼ cup flour or brown sugar, if too dry add ¼ cup milk
8. Put on baking sheets in cookie dollops
9 Place in oven and set timer for 8 minutes- check them when it rings, most likely, you will leave them in for a couple more than that
10. Take out, place on wire cooler
